An innovative, funder-supported coaching network helps students retain at higher rates — with no cost to schools

In an innovative collaboration between funders, higher education institutions and InsideTrack, the Emergency Coaching Network provided coaching and crisis support for students across the country during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Running from September 2020 through December 2021, the program gave students at 20 participating colleges and universities opt-in access to personalized coaching from specially trained InsideTrack coaches.

InsideTrack partnered with two nonprofit organizations — ECMC Foundation and Strada Education Foundation — to fund the Emergency Coaching Network, allowing schools to add a layer of student support at no cost. Support staff received leadership training as well, along with webinars to keep them connected and collaborating.
