The Education Fund: Empowering the health care workforce of tomorrow
The Opportunity
For years, there has been a scarcity of — yet high demand for — skilled health care workers in allied health occupations. The Education Fund, a multi-employer labor management training fund, works to close these workforce gaps by providing education, training and career advice at no cost to over 100,000 eligible members. In response to their growing organization and learner needs, the Education Fund partnered with InsideTrack to support learners from application through completion, to ultimately fuel a stronger health care workforce.

The Solution
Since January 2019, the Education Fund has partnered with InsideTrack to provide learners with one-on-one coaching as part of the wraparound support they need to succeed in accessing their educational benefits and completing their education to advance their degrees. The partnership also led to the creation of a new, in-demand Medical Assistant (MA) pathway, set and exceeded enrollment and graduation rate goals, and provided training for Education Fund staff to bring coaching methodology into their own organizational practices.
